- 1. Jack Stevens G/K Born 2/8/1997 in Ealing. First club was Oxford United where he made 65 first team appearances in nine seasons. Made 27 appearances on loan at Port Vale in 2022/23. Joined United in the summer of 2023. Played 33 league matches for the U’s up to start of 2024/25 season.
- 2. Liam Bennett Born 30/11/2001 Spotted while playing for non-league Sudbury in 2019. Signed for Cambridge United’s partner club St. Neots Town in 2020 and as a full time professional with the U’s in 2021. Played the first half of 2023/24 season on loan at Walsall. Was recalled back to the U’s for the rest of the season. Made 94 total league appearances up to the start of 2024/25 season.
- 3. Danny Andrew Born 23/12/1990 in Holbeach. Developed through the youth system at Peterborough United, where he was loaned out to Tamworth, Kidderminster and Cheltenham Town who he signed permanently for in 2010. More loan spells followed at Mansfield Town, Gloucester City and Cambridge United where he played one game in 2012. Has since played at Macclesfield Town, Fleetwood Town, Grimsby Town, Doncaster Rovers and a second spell at Fleetwood from whom Cambridge United signed him in 2023. Made 45 league appearances for the U’s in 2023/24 and 372 total league appearances.
- 4. Paul Digby Born 2/2/1995 in Sheffield. Started his career in the youth team at Barnsley where he won the most promising player of the year award as a U/13 in 2008. Also picked up the award in 2011. Made 21 first team appearances for the Tykes and 4 on loan at Ipswich before moving permanently to the Tractor Boys in 2017. Had spells at Mansfield Town, Forest Green Rovers and Stevenage before moving to the U’s in 2020. Up to the start of 2024/25 he had made a total of 265 league appearances, 167 for the U’s. England U/19 & U/20 international.
- 5. Michael Morrison Born 3/3/1988 in Bury St. Edmunds. Began his career in Cambridge United’s youth scheme in 2004. Made his first team debut in 2005 when he was 17. Played 108 games for the U’s before moving to Leicester City in 2008. After 3 years and 77 appearances he moved to Sheffield Wednesday. After only 12 appearances at Wednesday he moved on to Birmingham City for five years making 174 appearances and scoring 14 goals. In 2019 Michael signed for Reading and made 108 appearances in three seasons. He then moved to Portsmouth for the 2022/23 season and made 22 appearances before moving back to Cambridge. England C international. Has played 586 league matches up to the start of 2024/25 season.
- 6. Kelland Watts Born 3/11/1999 in Alnwick. Product of the Newcastle United academy. Signed professional terms at St. James’ Park in 2018. Had loan spells at Stevenage, Mansfield Town, Plymouth Argyle, Wigan Athletic, Peterborough United and Wigan again before signing for the U’s in the summer of 2024. England U/19 international. Has made 115 league appearances up to the start of 2024/25.
- 7. James Brophy Born 25/7/1994 in Brent. Joined Swindon Town in 2015 after several seasons playing non-league football. Made 64 league appearances for Swindon over three seasons before moving to Leyton Orient where he made 78 appearances, again over three seasons. Moved to the Abbey in the summer of 2021 and has made 133 appearances for the U’s up to the start of 2024/25.
- 8. George Thomas Born 24/3/1997 in Leicester. Started as a youth at Coventry City 2014. Made 42 appearances for Coventry, scoring 6 goals. Before moving to Leicester City in 2017. Was loaned to Scunthorpe United and Dutch side ADO Den Haag. Moved to Queens Park Rangers in 2020 where he made 40 first team appearances over two seasons. Had a six game loan spell at the Abbey in 2022/23 before a permanent move in at the start of 2023/24. Full Welsh international. Has made a total 163 league appearances scoring 10 goals.
- 9. Dan Llundulu Born in 1999 in France. Product of the Chelsea youth scheme. Joined Southampton in 2016. Had loan spells at Lincoln City, Cheltenham Town (twice) and Bolton Wanderers. Signed permanently for Bolton in 2022 and for the U’s in September 2024. Has made 90 EFL appearances up to the start of 2024/25 scoring 8 goals. England U/19 international.
- 10. Elias Kunchunga Born 22/4/1992 in Cologne Germany. Started his career at Borussia Monchengladbach in 2009. After loan spells at Osabruck, Hertha Berlin and Paderborn he transferred to Paderborn in 2013. After two seasons he moved to Ingoslatadt 04 who loaned him to Huddersfield Town in 2016. The move was made permanent in 2017. After five seasons at Huddersfield and 117 appearances with16 goals he moved on to Sheffield Wednesday for the 2020/21 season. He then had two seasons at Bolton Wanderers scoring 2 goals from 70 appearances. Joined Cambridge United in 2023. German U/21 international and DR Gongo full international. Up to the start of 204/25 season he had scored 48 league goals from 359 appearances.
- 11. Sullay Kaikai Born 26/8/1995 in Southwick. Product of the Crystal Palace youth scheme. His first four years as a professional saw him loaned out to Crawley Town, Shrewsbury Town, Brentford, Charlton Athletic and Cambridge United where he scored 5 goals in 45 appearances. Made three first team appearances at Crystal Palace, scoring on his debut against Newcastle. Moved to Dutch club NAC Breda in 2019, but only made six appearances all from the bench, before he terminated his contract and moved to Blackpool. After two years, 58 appearances and 11 goals Sullay moved to Wycombe Wanderers in 2021 for two seasons and then Milton Keynes for the second half of the 2022/23 season. Joined the U’s at the start of the 2023/24 season. At the start of the 2023/24 season he had made 232 EFL appearances scoring 38 goals. A Sierra Leone full international.
- 14. Korey Smith Born 31/1/1991 in Hatfield. Started at Norwich City. Made his senior debut in 2009. Made 67 first team appearances for the Canaries, scoring 4 goals. After loan spells at Barnsley, Yeovil Town and Oldham Athletic he joined Oldham on a permanent basis in 2013. Joined Bristol City in 2014 and spent seven seasons at Ashton gate. Moved to Swansea in 2020 and Derby County in 2022. Joined Cambridge United in the summer of 2024. By the start of 2024/25 season Korey had made 467 EFL appearances and scored 7 goals.
- 15. Jubril Okedina 26/10/2000 in Woolwich. Product of the Tottenham Hotspur academy. Joined Cambridge United initially on loan in 2020 and made the move permanent the following year. At the start of 2024/25 Jubril had made 81EFL appearances for the U’s. A full Malawi international.
- 16. Zeno Ibsen Rossi 28/10/2000 in Streatham. Having spent time as youngster at Brentford and Southampton Zeno joined Bournemouth in 2020 and was loan out to Kilmarnock for the 2020/21 season. Played four matches for Bournemouth before another loan spell at Dundee. Joined Cambridge United in July 2022. By the start of the 2024/25 season Jubril had made 17 EFL appearances for the U’s.
- 17. Taylor Richards Born 4/12/2000 in Hammersmith. Started his senior career at Brighton & Hove Albion with loans to Doncaster Rovers and Birmingham City. Joined Queens Park Rangers on a permanent contract in 2023. Up to the start of the 2024/25 season Taylor had scored 10 goals from 68 EFL appearances. England U/19 international.
- 18. Ryan Loft Born 14/9/1997 in Gravesend. Started his senior career with Tottenham Hotspur after being in the youth schemes at Dartford and Ebbsfleet. Had loan spells at Braintree Tow, Stevenage and Exeter City. Moved to Leicester City in 2019 who loaned him to Carlisle United in 2019/20 where he made 26 appearances scoring 4 goals. Transferred to Scunthorpe United in 2020 and Bristol Rovers in 2021. Spent the 2023/24 season at Port Vale. Joined Cambridge United in the summer of 2024. Has made 168 EFL appearances and scored 22 goals as at the start of the 2024/25 season.
- 19. Shayne Lavery Born 8/12/1998 in Aghagallon, Northern Ireland. Played youth football for Glenavon before a successful trail with Everton in 2017. Played six matches on loan at Falkirk in 2019 and signed a permanent deal for Linfield in the same year. Moved to Blackpool in 2021 and three seasons at Bloomfield Road scored 15 goals in 95 EFL appearances. Joined Cambridge United at the start of the 2024/25 season. A full Northern Ireland international.
- 20. Gary Gardner Born 29/6/92 in Solihull. A product of the Aston Villa academy signed professional forms for Villa in 2009. Over the next ten years Gary spent loan spells at Coventry City, Sheffield Wednesday, Brighton & Hove Albion, Nottingham Forest, Barnsley and Birmingham City as well as 42 first team games for the Villains. Transferred to Birmingham on a permanent deal in 2019 and joined Cambridge United in 2024. At the start of 2024/25 he had made 304 EFL appearances and scored 27 goals. A England U21 international.
- 23. Mamadou Jobe Born 2/3/2003 in Harlow. Came through the Cambridge United academy. Had loan spells at St. Neots Town, Concord Rangers, St. Albans City and Gateshead. Made his first team debut at the end of the 2023/24 season. At the start of the 2024/25 season he had made five first team appearances.
- 24. Jordan Cousins Born 6/3/1994 in Greenwich. Joined Cambridge United at the start of the 2023/24 season from Wigan Athletic. Began his career at Charlton Athletic and broke into the first team in 2011. After five seasons at the Valley and 125 appearances he moved to Queens Park Rangers where he made 61 appearances in three seasons. Signed for Stoke City in 2019 and Wigan in 2021. At the start of 2024/25 he had made 286 EFL appearances and scored nine goals. A England U/20 international and Jamaican full international.
- 26. James Gibbons Born 16/3/1998 in Stoke on Trent. Joined the U’s initially on loan in January of 20024 from Bristol Rovers. Signed permanently in the summer of the same year. Started his career at Port Vale in 2016. Over the next six seasons at Vale Park James played 111 EFL games. Transferred to Bristol Rovers in 2022 where he made 37 appearances.

- 29. Connor O’Riordan Born 19/10/2003 in Crewe. Joined Cambridge United in August 2024 on a season long loan from Blackburn Rovers. Product of the Crewe Alexandra scholarship scheme. After loan spells at Kidsgrove Athletic and Nantwich Town he made his first team debut for Crewe in 2021. After 52 appearances, 6 goals and a loan spell at Raith Rovers Connor transferred to Blackburn Rovers in 2023. At the start of 2024/25 season he had played 72 League matches. Republic of Ireland U/21 intermational.
- 30. Glenn McConnell Born 26/04/05 in Salvador, Brazil. Joined Cambridge United academy at the age of nine and progressed through the ranks to sign full professional terms in May 2022. Has spent loan spells at St. Neots Town and St. Albans City. At the start of 2024/25 Glenn had played three EFL appearances.

- 34. Brandon Njoku Born 29/1/2005 in London. Joined Cambridge United’s academy in summer 2021 after a spell at West Ham United. Part of the United team that reached the quarter finals of the FA Youth Cup in 2023, scoring in multiple rounds. Has had loan spells at St. Neots Town, Braintree Town, Peterborough Sporting and most notably at St. Ives Town where he scored 13 goals in 19 matches. At the start of the 2024/25 season he had played 3 EFL matches.
- 36. Dan Barton Born 28/1/2005. Played in Cambridge United’s youth scheme and sign as a professional in June 2023. Had a loan spell at St. Ives Town in 2023. Made his first team debut at the start of the season and so far played in seven first team matches.
- 37. Amaru Kaunda Born 27/11/2005. Joined Cambridge United’s academy as a under 15. Signed as a professional in August 2024. Had loan spells at St. Ives Town and Biggleswade in 2023/24.
- 38. George Hoddle Born 27/9/2005. Part of the Cambridge United youth team that reached the quarter finals of the FA Youth Cup in 2023. In July of that year, after he had been awarded the Terry Baker Scholar of the Year Award, he signed a professional contract. At the start of 2024/25 he had made one first team appearance.
- 45. Emmanuel Longelo Born 12/12/2000 in Barking. Joined Cambridge United on a season long loan from Birmingham City in August 2024. Started at West Ham United as a nine-year-old. Played first team football in the EFL Cup and Europa League for West Ham before transferring to Birmingham City in 2022. At the start of the 2004/25 season he had made 40 EFL appearances and scored one goal.
