Parking around the ground
A number of fans fell foul of the parking regulations around the ground on Saturday. Having followed up with the Council, we wanted to clarify these ahead of future games (as we understand them). If there are double yellow lines, these also apply to the kerb, grass or other space alongside them as far in as the nearest property. This means that for example, on Barnwell Road as you head up towards the McDonalds roundabout, there are double yellow lines which run either side of the pedestrian crossing. The large grass verge to the left (is up to the hedge) is thus a prohibited parking area so long as you are alongside the lines - so please do not park there. Double yellow lines are in force 24/7 so this will apply to both afternoon and evening games. The Newmarket Road Park & Ride is of course still available and provides a safe and convenient place to park. #CamUTD
