This evening, we welcome the supporters’, officials and players of both Cambridge United and Rotherham to the Cledara Abbey Stadium. We also welcome the students from Anglia Ruskin University and Cambridge University who are participating in the club’s student initiative. I wish them well with their studies and also hope they enjoy living in this wonderful city.
The article this evening is about how you can get involved with both raising money and awareness for two superb organisations. The first is the British Heart Foundation and the second is Prostrate United The Robert Osbourn Memorial Walk takes place on Saturday 19th October before the home game against Wigan Athletic. The second event is being organised Prostrate United whose aim is to beat Prostrate Cancer a disease that kills a man every 45 minutes. The challenge can involve either walking, running or cycling during October The money raised is going towards improving prostate cancer research, the support and help men living with the disease are currently receiving.” Depending on which works best for you, you can choose which daily challenge and distance to do:
If you choose to do both or one of these challenges you will be helping to make a difference to someone’s life If you have any questions, please contact me or check out
