For this match Stevenage supporters have been allocated the South Habbin.


Chris is the volunteer Abbey Helper designated to the South Stand to assist visiting fans on match days

The weather forecast on the evening at present is for sunny intervals with a gentle breeze

I will be providing more information throughout the coming days up until the match via Twitter. I will also be sharing this via some of the other supporter’s site. If there are any changes, I will let you know.

If tickets are unsold they will available from the Ticket office on the day

Tickets can be collected from the ticket office accessed via Newmarket Road not on the turnstiles.

COACH DRIVERS’ INFORMATION
 

I wonder if you can let us know how many coaches will be traveling to Cambridge for the match both official and unofficial if you are aware.  
 
This will allow us to plan for their arrival.  Please see the link below for details concerning dropping off and collection. For this match all coaches I believe they will be advised to use the Stow Cum Quy layby near to the A14 junction

USING THE TRAIN   
   
If traveling by train, we recommend using the Cambridge North Station and following the Chisholm trail. It is a 25-minute walk to the station.

It is a pleasant walk or cycle ride through fields. There are cycle racks at the front of the ground and behind the Habbin North Stand.

PARK & RIDE  
   
Street parking around the Stadium is restricted. An alternative is to use the Park & Ride service. It is situated near the airport to the east of the city and is about a 20-minute walk to the ground along Newmarket Road.

The cost of using the service for fans is £3.00 return.  More information can be found

We recommend supporters to use the service and ask for a ticket to the Cledara Abbey Stadium
  
The last bus from the city centre is 8.30pm to the park & ride. THERE IS NO BUS BACK FOLLOWING THE MATCH TO THE SITE

Are there any known traffic issues en route to the Stadium?    

I am not aware of any road works planned on the A14 over weekend.  


During the past weeks there have been ongoing road works on Horningsea Road Fen Ditton, so please be aware of possible delays

We advise anyone coming to the match to use the Park and Ride bus or walk from the site coming off at the Stow-Cum-Quy junction
   
There is a drive through McDonalds near to the club on Newmarket Road. This can become extremely busy and cause congestion if there are a lot customers queuing to be served

Do you have a Changing Places or baby changing facility?  There are Baby Changing Facilities at the South Stand in the accessible toilet at the end nearest the turnstiles. Ask a steward for assistance if required
    
Please give details of pre-match venue for away fans (Will our supporters be able to use your club house or do they need to make other arrangements)?        
To use the Abbey Lounge, see https://cambridgeunitedsupportersclub.co.uk/ anyone wanting to use their facilities will need to contact them in advance of the match. The club is separate from the Football Club There is not a recommended list and there are no pubs within a 15-minute radius of the Stadium. Some will close on match days.

There is a Tesco’s superstore about 10-minute walk from the ground on Newmarket Road

There is a range of food and drink available. At the South Habbin Stand there is a mobile which sells fried food and another kiosk which sells hot drinks, beer, pies etc.
 
The kiosks selling alcohol and food in the walkway behind the South Stand. There is no concourse at the ground
