Join us on Tuesday the 10th of April, 5.30pm at The Abbey Stadium, Cambridge, to hear from diferent organisations and speakers discussing the links between sport and wellbeing with regards to maintaining positive mental health.
The evening will consist of 3 guest speakers including Matt Walker, Head of Performance at Cambridge United Football Club, and a representative from CHUMS - Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing Service for children and young people. They will explore their own personal experiences and insights to enrich the lives of guests. These speeches will be followed by a Q&A.
After the event Cambridge United U16s vs. Chelsea U16s will play at the Abbey Stadium (Kick off 7pm) which is free of charge to those attending this event.
The schedule for the evening will be as follows;
5.30pm arrival (teas and coffees provided)
5.50pm – 6.30pm organisations share and include service summaries of MH organisations
6.30pm – 7pm Q + A
7pm Mental Health Awareness Event finish
7pm Kick off Cambridge United U16s play Chelsea U16s at the Abbey Stadium (Kick off 7pm). This will be free of charge for all those attending the Mental Health Awareness Evening.
