The weather is forecast to be at sub zero temperatures during the next week and could go as low as -12c in some areas. Snow is also a possibility in some parts.
With the weekend coming and possibly waiting until next Monday when the decision might be too late. It was decided we would cover the pitch today to lower any risk of the ground freezing.

Work began with Mick moving the covers around the ground and from there each one was unroled. It takes two roles to cover the width of the pitch. The covers are held down by pegs.
