The EFL are running a number of regional Fan Forum Events throughout the 2016/17 season, offering fans the chance to listen to and engage with the EFL, Sky Sports, special guests, and former referee Chris Foy (currently senior coach at Professional Game Match Officials). The evening event is interactive and opens up a number of opportunities for supporter debate.
If you would like to attend the upcoming London session at SKY’s Head Office - Sky Central, in Isleworth, on Monday 20th March 2017. SKY have kindly agreed to host the London forum, and part of the evening will also enable fans in attendance the chance to see behind-the-scenes at the Head Office of EFL’s broadcasting partner.
The backdrop to the event is the new joint commitment by the EFL and Sky Sports which focuses on ensuring minimal disruption for fans with regards to the rescheduling of fixtures for TV. The EFL also considers it important to proactively engage with supporters on a number of matters relating to match officials, recent changes to the Laws of the Game, introduction of the new Match Officials Select Group 2, and the perception of referees and their assistants within the EFL.
