i was at the first game against lincoln with my complimentary season ticket given to us by the Smarts for putting in the new concrete terracing at the allotments end and helping to put up the wire fencing at pitch level, after finished working we were given a pint of beer from a barrel kept in the ambulance room, most welcome after shoveling all that sand and gravel .
