Recently the club was congratulated on how clean the Abbey Stadium is on match days.
Two members of the volunteer team helping to ensure the stadium is ready each match day are Margaret Pearson and Terry O'Dell. They are both supporters who on match days can be found standing in the Habbin.
Margaret normally comes to help with her husband Frank and in addition to cleaning the stands help to ensure the track around the pitch is weed free. Frank is currently recovering from an operation, so we wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to him coming back to help again in the near future.
Terry during the seventies and eighties helped around the ground doing painting and maintenance work. He helped paint the Habbin Stand metal work one summer. He answered the call to help again and is now helping with painting and clearing up after matches.
