From the East – take either the A50 or the A52 depending on where you are coming from in to the City, following signs for Burslem. The two routes below are not the most direct of routes, but probably the easiest to follow and there is very little difference in mileage. For the A50 – enter the city via the Uttoxeter bypass (M1/M6 link road) and through Meir and the new Meir tunnel. Continue on this road until you pass Stoke City’s Britannia Stadium (on the left). Using the middle or right-hand lane, turn right at the roundabout on to the A500. Continue on the A500 and take the fourth exit sign posted A527. Carry straight on heading towards Stoke-on-Trent, through Ash Bank and Werrington. At the large cross roads (Limekiln Bank traffic lights) go straight across – using the right hand lane for the two lanes going straight on – up the steep incline. Stay in the right hand lane and take the right hand turn where indicated by the road markings (Keelings Road). Stay on this road until you come to a set of traffic lights. Get in the right hand lane, and turn right – getting into the left hand lane as you turn. Carry on for about 1.5 miles until you reach a series of mini-roundabouts - approach this in the right hand lane. At each of these roundabouts go straight ahead – onto High Lane, then take the fourth left, which is Hamil Road. Vale Park is on the right towards the bottom of Hamil Road. BY COACH Once entering the City of Stoke-on-Trent follow routes instructed by Staffordshire Police Authorities. I trust that some of, all of, or bits of, are useful and look forward to welcoming you to Vale Park during the 2018/2019 season.
