Having completed the Amber painting of the panels at the rear of the Habbin North we have turned our attention to the ones painted black. These had not deteriorated/weathered as much as the yellow ones. Instead of painting them we cleaned them down with water. Work has now started on the panels at the south end of the stand with the panels being prepared for painting.
The main job that needed to be done during the week was to repair the walls and area affected by moving the shutter in the Premier Suite / Dublin Room in time for the functions on Thursday and Friday.
Les Weston and Mick Radford did a superb job in completing this work in the timescales needed.
Another job started needing completion before the season starts is an issue raised via the saftey inspection carried out. The panels on the gates around the pitchside are requiring change due to the current ones rotting and splitting. The new ones have been cut to size now and the first coats of paint done on new panels
