Today, saw the green green grass start to reappear and the snow on pitch disappear. No blowers used this time :-)
Some of the work being carried out today.
Brian who is Ian's uncle has started to weed the trackside - grass seed has germinated and started to grow . needing to be cleared now to keep areas tidy.
Mick and I spent today clearing the car parks, Cut Throat Lane paths , behind the South Stand. We also did the the pitch following the contractors lifting the flooring to pick up anything falling on the ground. In particular can rings. We did find one penny. If you would like to claim it and have proof it is yours - please contact me by using a homing pidgoen.
Les worked on the Cut Throat Lane bridge almost losing his scrapper at one point in the brook.
Pete was painting the yellow warning signs in the Main Stand, while Jason painted some of the safety gate frames in advance of putiing the panels back on.
On Sunday the Abbey Arms was hit by a vehicle and today the repair was looked at by Graham who did the
re-felting on the roof last year.
