Another week has ended and the work has continued. It will slow down now, so everything can get ready for the concert next week
See the photos for where we have got to in the Habbin and some more turnstile photographs. Today, we completed the first stage clean on the Habbin and South Stand areas turnstiles while completing the Habbin North Amber painting The first group of photographs show the North Habbin work - the Amber painting has been completerd by the team and given two coats. We will wash down the black panels possibly next week. The painting of the South Habbin panels will be started after the concert. Les painted the South Habbin entrance earlier in the week - watch out for when we do they other two. Although they will be white there will be a little twist. The second group of photographs are of the turnstiles behind the Habbin and South Stand areas. The work started on cleaning them this week. We hope to have them painted by the start of the season. Can you say where each one is situated. I said last night I would like to put an old turnstile in the garden. I think someone thinks I am becoming a sad old man. But an Elliston does have something magic about it. Finally, it was lovely to see a letter in the Cambridge News - It was really appreciated by everyone working at the ground. The volunteers and all the staff are really trying hard at the club to make the supporters experience the best it can.
