Rowland George "Roly" Horrey (born 7 March 1943) was a winger who joined Cambridge United in 1968 with Dennis Walker.
He had played for Blackburn Rovers and York City in the Football League before joining the U's Roly played 38 times scoring four times for the U's and was part of the team that took the club into the Football League under Bill Leivers. He remained and played for the club in the Football League before leaving for Chelmsford. Today, he returned to the Abbey the first time in many years due to work commitments. The boot belonged to Brian Grant, one of the best exponents of the sliding tackle ever seen at the Abbey. His right hip must be worn smooth, so many times did he swivel on it.
