What has been going on? The Apprentice Groundsman

There has been two matches to get ready for and cleaned up afterwards. However, below the first photo shows Ian starting to re-seed the penalty area this morning. With there being  some time before the next match it is now possible to give the seed a chance of germinating before the Luton match. This is Ian's favourite job.

The second photo shows the pitch covers. Unless the forecast changes overnight these will all be going on tomorrow. The temperature is showing a period of sub zero  temperatures and to avoid the pitch becoming too fhard we will be covering the playing area.

We have also painted one of the kiosks and placed it at the wicker gate. Several matches this season has seen heavy rain and Fiona was getting soaked standing out in the open. This won't solve everything but means she now gets some cover.
