Following Richard Money's departure the speculation of who may be his replacement is rife. What is fact is there are only 92 jobs and lots of ex managers without a job, ex players looking for the opportunity and others who been neither. We have excluded anyone currently at Cambridge United from the list below as it unfair to do so.

Nigel Clough - Previous manager of Burton, Derby and Sheffield United. He is the son of Brian Clough and is a former Nottingham Forest and Liverpool player. Played for England. He is available following his departure from Sheffield United where he reached the FA Cup and League Cup Semi Finals.
Chris Wilder - Linked with the position in the past. Has been manager for Oxford and Halifax previously. Currently manager at Northampton who are going through a difficult period financially and also through the current club structure. Experienced at this level
Chris Powell - Left Huddersfield today. Formerly manager at Charlton
Two former Leeds United managers are available Ure Rosler and Brian McDermott may come into the frame. Ure Rosler has manged Brentford and Wigan while Brian has managed at Slough, Woking and Reading.
