We have been clearing out some cupboards at the ground this week. While doing so we found these two photographs hidden at the back of one.
Is anyone able to tell us some information about the photographs and their history In the one above who is in the team? What is the away ground? What is the year? Who took the photograph? Below who created the image? What year is it and who are the players in the photo? What was it designed for for? The one below has some damage to it and when repiared we will hang it somewhere in the ground. The one above is already hanging up. Sadly a third picture has been damaged and a new frame will be required.

Not sure about the players but convinced the ground is Griffin park in the black and white photo

Highfield Rd, Coventry, just after the 1 -1 draw in the League Cup 4th round 1981.

Jamie Murray and George Riley perhaps in the photo ground looks too grand for Griffin Park and wonder if it was a cup match ,perhaps Vicarage Road.

The ground in the b&w pic is Highfield Road, Coventry City’s old stadium, and a very happy hunting ground for us in league cup and FA cup games, I think the pic was circa 1980 when we’d knocked them out of the league cup?

That is Highfield Road, Coventry. This was an FA Cup tie in 1980.
