AWAY COACH DRIVERS INFORMATION

Cambridge United has produced the following guide to assist coach drivers when coming to the Abbey Stadium on matchdays.

When reaching the ground the entrance will look like the photo below.

We ask you to park and allow the supporters to disembark as quickly and safely as possible.
Picture
When everyone has safely disembarked you will need to continue down Newmarket Road until reaching a large roundabout (Elizabeth Way).

Proceed around it and head back in the opposite direction to the one you have come, up Newmarket Road.

Carry along Newmarket Road going past the ground, over the McDonalds roundabout,

Depending on the number of coaches there are then two options. Please contact the club for the number of coaches planned to travel on the day

Option 1 - For a small number of coaches they will need to use the lay-by towards the Stow Cum Quy roundabout. Continue to the roundabout and come back towards Cambridge. The lay-by is on the left hand side. After the match head back to the ground and aim to arrive at 4.45

Option 2 - For a large number of coaches. We will organise an alternative if advised in advance of the day -
Go straight on through the traffic lights & on your right hand side you will see Marshall’s Airport, approx. ½ mile away.

Go through the EXIT gates as per the picture below & our steward will show you where to park

After the match

Turn left from the site and continue back to the Abbey Stadium with the aim to arrive at 4.45pm.

Please try to avoid using the bus stops either side of the road to park, stewards will direct you to park directly outside our ground in the bus lane towards the town centre.
